As more and more women are working until their due date at offices, it would be nice to have an office baby shower function for these working pregnant women. Nothing would be more memorable for someone who is totally surprised by an event like this. Imagine colleagues being as warm as family and being a part of the important event of an employee’s life. Firstly, to conduct this function, you need to plan well in advance keeping in my mind the person’s maternity leave dates as some of them may start their leave as early as few weeks before their actual due date.

The gifts need to be chosen and selected with care and thought about before deciding as it is very common to have duplication of gifts. Actually we could be a little different and even gift stuff for the new mother- to- be who may be in need of so many things to support her breast feeding days and brand new day as a mother.
Hence the best option would be to find out exactly what the new parents would need or in particular the mother-to-be needs and plan it out that way. And these days you have many options from the baby stores for parents to select their own gifts. One common and useful idea would be a gift voucher which presented to the shop can be redeemed against an item that the new parents actually need.
As it is an office baby shower, you could get a little bit creative and even plan a slide show or a small video of the working days of the mother and convey how hard working the mother is even when she was pregnant. This way you could also motivate her as an employee and show her some recognition which can only increase her happiness. With a little collaboration with co-workers and the boss, you can throw an office baby shower party that the mom-to-be will cherish for years to come.
