Have everyone involved as more and more people come in because it is not guaranteed that they will all come in at the same time. This way, everyone will be relaxed for the remainder of the shower. Once these kinds of games are complete, you can try some riskier ones. An example would be the dirty diaper game, where people smell the “dirty diaper”.
How is this game played? First off you will need to buy a packet of diapers and different chocolate bars. Thereafter, put chocolate candies inside the diapers. They should be melted before being placed inside the diapers. All these chocolate candies should have different smell like Almond Joys, Snickers, Kit kat bars, Baby Ruth, etc. Recording the guests’ reactions as they try to understand what flavors those candies are is both funny and interesting. Each guest should smell the diapers and write down what each type of diaper smelled what. You should also be having an idea of what these answers should be like. Later as you are almost giving out favors, you can read the results off and announce the winner of the game.
You should also be keen to see if the guests are enjoying these games. Have a backup plan of other games that you can fall on if the guests do not seem to like the ones already being played. You can play something simple and less disturbing like mothers and young ones. To make your entertainment interesting, make your rules and have them fit your baby shower theme. The main aim of entertainment in your baby shower is to have everyone have fun, meet new people as well get everyone feeling comfortable because these games loosen people up.
