So many different kinds of famous baby shower games are played at almost every baby shower. It just goes to show how interested we are in famous celebrities and celebrity babies! Aside from filling that need to know what’s going on in celebrities’ lives, these games are ones that make you think!
One form of the famous baby shower game includes the unborn guest of honor, too. It’s a rather simple game: each guest is supposed to jot down names of famous people who share the identical first name with the baby. To make the game more of a challenge, time is limited to three minutes only.
Another game gives the celeb watchers more of an advantage. After all, who would know the celebrities and the names of their children, too? On a sheet of paper, print the names of celebrities on the right column and their children’s names on the left column. Jumble up the names and make sure that there are no names of father or mother and child beside the other. The first guest to correctly match up the names wins!
Did you know that you can find the baby pictures of your favorite stars on the internet? While it’s fun to compare how they turned out, they can make the basis of another game all on their own. Some of the celebs look the same while others are very different from the ill-at-ease kids they used to be. Choose stars from different eras; you can even mix in some famous faces from the thirties and forties if you can find them.
Try keying in “when celebrities were kids” to find these elusive photos. Print them in legible sizes and form a gallery on one wall using their pictures. Give each picture a number and let your guests guess who is who. Have them write down their answers along with the numbers given. Print out a cheat sheet for you to check their answers!
TV Babies involves the kids on past and present TV shows. List down some shows that have kids in them and ask the guests if they remember the children that were on those shows. The have to name the characters, though and not the actors. Use a combination of new & old programs to liven the game up a bit! And if the guest can rattle off the actors’ names, too? Give them a Mr. Potato Head as a prize!
A difficult famous baby game to play is to ask your guests to alphabetically list down all the names of the celebrity babies that they know. Do you think that’s really simple for them? Ask them to just jot down names of the babies born in the previous year.
Why not give your guests typical couch potato prizes? Some popcorn kernels, flavored or unflavored, bags of low-fat chips, boxes of brownie mix, boxes of cookies, or a pack of crackers and a box of cheese are great sit-in-front-of-the-TV snacks.
And if there’s one guest that can get all the questions right? How about giving out an exercise ball so they can get some moving done while the tube is on?
